Caban Condos was born on a beach in southern Mexico in the summer of 2010. After visiting and vacationing in Mexico for many years, entrepreneur Mike Delaire from Saskatoon, SK Canada had a dream and a vision. He loved the people, the beaches, the food, the beauty and the nature of Mexico.

After a visit to Mahahual, Quintana Roo Mike had a vision to create a brand of beautiful & affordable ocean front properties built to high quality standards for Americans & Canadians. This dream turned into reality and Caban Condos was born. A first successful project was built and sold out in Mahahual. Interested in future projects and development, Mike realized he needed someone down on the ground in Mexico full time.

Along comes Parrish. Meet Parrish Kondra – also a native of Saskatoon and long time friend of Mike’s. The two met at a jet ski race in Saskatoon some 15 years ago. Parrish was envious and ecstatic of Mikes business in Mexico and knew he wanted to become involved. The two friends starting talking about the future and projects together. With a 8-5 career mainly in sales, Parrish knew a better life was calling.

In the fall of 2015 Parrish left his career in agriculture, sold his house and moved with two suitcases to Mexico. Having lived in small town Saskatoon all his life this was quit a shock but the best decision of his life. He would be glad to share his story with you, feel free to ask. Parrish currently resides in Merida, the capital city of Yucatan state.

He is here to oversee more of the day to day operations and construction of the new project in San Crisanto as well meeting with clients. He also takes care of all marketing material and social media. Yes, we do everything in house! He would love to meet with you and give a tour of Merida and the beautiful beaches here!

Mike Delaire

Founder & President

Mike was born in Saskatoon, raised in Lloydminster. Loved hockey growing up and still plays today. Mike played Junior hockey in his home town of Lloyd. Attended Sait in Calgary. He then worked in the oil industry in Southern Alberta until 1999. In 1999 he moved to Saskatoon with just a bed and suitcase and at the age of 23 opened a business, North Shore Outfitters. Mike operated North Shore successfully until 2010 when he sold the stores. He then pursued his interest of Real Estate and started Regal Property Developments. Nine years later Regal Property is a fast growing company looking towards many great things in the future. Things you may not know about Mike, he has raced jets skis for over 20 years at Professional level and is even a World Champion!

Parrish Kondra

Partner & Sales

Parrish was born & raised in Saskatoon, SK Canada. After attending the U of S he pursued a career mainly in sales within the Telecommunications & Agriculture industry. He is an avid hockey player who loves to lace up the skates when he is back in Canada. Parrish loves warm weather & the beach and is fortunate to call Yucatan, Mexico home!
He sold it all and moved to Mexico with two suitcases & zero Spanish. Parrish would be glad to share his story with you anytime.

Meet Elisa! We are happy to have Elisa working with us for almost 2 years now! Elisa is originally from northern Mexico, born in a small town in Puebla. She grew up in Nuevo Laredo where her family resides today. She always dreamed of living by the beach and now lives in Playa del Carmen. She went to school at CEDIM in Monterrey, graduating in design & publicity. Elisa has helped transform our brands image into what it is today. She is very passionate about design and it shows in her work! You may also see her appearing in some of our photos as our part time model & if you come to Yucatan, you might get to meet her as she enjoys spending time with our clients! Thank you Elisa for your support & hard work! We really appreciate it.

Project Manager

Blair was born and raised on a farm outside of Saskatoon, SK. An Electrician by trade Blair is also a Class 1 Building Inspector and has built several homes and numerous projects over the years. Blair is an avid traveler having backpacked around the world and is excited to be joining the Caban team and relocating to Merida! Did you know? He moved to China and worked as an English teacher for a year!

    We recently made a trip to Merida to look at Condo options. We met with Parrish and Elisa who were kind enough to spend the weekend showing us Merida, Progresso, and San Crisanto. We are excited to work with Caban Condos and the construction of our new home in San Crisanto. The sand is beautiful, the waves are calm, the tranquility is everything!     We visited Mexico in November, looking for a place to retire. After checking out the Mayan Riviera, we ended up choosing San Crisanto. We met with Parrish , Elisa, Mike and Tanya at the building site. Great down to earth people. We took a leap of faith and purchased a Condo from them. Haven't look back since. Construction is moving along and the paper work went smoothly to purchase. Can't wait to move in. Beautiful sand beach and quiet area.

    I’ve been to the condos in Mahuahal, they were absolutely gorgeous! Beautiful set up well built and a great area. These 2 Canadian guys held a great info session last year in Saskatoon at the Greenbryre golf coarse and it was very informative. My wife and I have spent the past 2 years vacationing in Cancun and area as well as Puerto Vallarta and have looked at condo developments. Caban pricing is great, Merida is a beautiful spot in the Yucatan state and its definitely worth going to see these guys and let them take you around the area to show you what this beautiful spot has to offer!

    I love Mexico and have been to various places previously from timeshares to all inclusive. The San Crisanto area is beautiful, quiet, and has the small town environment that I like/prefer. The water is clear, sand is white. It's very hard to find an area that isn't fully developed and busy that has an undisturbed beach with ocean view like the condos in San Crisanto have. if you're looking for a quiet place to relax, I highly recommend checking it out.
